selectivity of fraternities

by: incoming freshman

As an incoming freshman, I have done a lot of research about the different fraternities. I have a vague idea of the 3-5 fraternities I want to focus on and I was wondering how selective they are. I was wondering about Kappa Sig, Beta, Sig Pi, Sigma Chi, and Delta Chi. Thanks in advance

So if you're wondering about like voting and stuff like that, some frats like Sig Chi and Beta I've heard require rushes to get 95-100% approval in order to get a bid, and I think Kap Sig is like 50% or something like that lower. Not saying either way is better, as each has its advantages and disadvantages, but I believe that's the general process. I don't know as much about the other two so I won't comment. Hope this helps and I really encourage you to not worry about the selectivity of them. Through rush you'll figure out which ones you really enjoy and I'd go from there. It's really hard to judge greek organizations from this site.

I believe Sig Chi and Delta Phi are the only 100% houses on campus and to the freshmen; no one outside of this site respects delta chi nearly enough to include them as a selective/top house
