KA throws fun open parties but I have had some weird encounters with brothers. Sometimes they give off a creepy vibe.

Incredibly involved brothers in the community, currently fighting to make themselves visible since WM has done NOTHING for the black frats/sororities here. Always a good time and have great brotherhood.

For some reason they equate being a black fraternity with being totally uninvolved with any other groups on campus. It's a strange form of self-ostracism. Who the hell knows who the brothers are and to even know about anything they're doing socially it seems like you have to be black or extremely in with the brothers. It'd be cool if this refreshingly non-white fraternity was a legitimate presence on campus but that just isn't the case. Black students are better off joining a mixed race frat.

Very pleased to see this fraternity on the campus where Thomas Jefferson learned a few lessons, though apparently not all that he should have learned (which is the case with a few posters further below who pointedly are writing they feel a need to keep a Black frat down). Oh well, maybe in the next century a light will shine upon the Old South, flag or no flag. One of the partners at the investment advisory firm where I intern mightily supports his chapter. I bet the brothers here have fun.

Black frat. Not in the IFC. Don't operate like the rest of the normal, social fraternities on this site. Ranking down to keep them out of the way.

I feel like a lot of these comments show just how segregated the social lives are at William and Mary. In the black community, when the alphas have an event, it is full. Their parties are sold out and their house is always packed. They may have declined a little bit since last year, but all in all they are are super involved in campus (SA, NAACP, Sports clubs) and they all take their brotherhood VERY seriously.

This is just a small, black fraternity. I rarely see any of them wearing their letters and they arn't involed in the school at all. They don't really have an impact on anything, but they are mostly nice guys.

The brothers in this fraternity are really close and do all they can to be involved on this campus. They typically party at other schools, but they are kind funny people. The fraternity operates in a different way than IFC but they are god guys.
