Can you join a sorority when you are a junior?

Rush is not that intense/serious here, as long as the girls see you fitting in they probably won't drop you for being a junior! I know Sigma Kappa and AOPi have taken juniors before. Definitely go through recruitment and give it a try, good luck!! :)

The only problem you may face is that all the sororities at WMU have a live in requirement that is "2 years or until the house is full." But if you are willing to live in next year-the remainder of your college career it shouldn't be a problem :)
