Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Western Illinois University - WIU 4.2 After going through recruitment this weekend, I wanted to make a comment about how AST was really the only house that I noticed any diversity. Girls of all colors and creed as sisters. I ended up going to another house but this truly stood out to me compared to the other houses.

The house is full of goofy, fun, talented, spontaneous, passionate girls and they will accept you regardless of your looks or background. They're making such a good name for themselves lately. Sweetest girls I've ever met, they're the sisters that will have just as much fun going out as they do staying in. Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Western Illinois University - WIU 5.0 It hurts to see some of the comments below because some of my closest friends are taus and they are the most down to earth people I have met at western, other sororities will do anything to give them a bad rep by spreading rumors. These girls are so diverse and accepting almost anyone can fit in, I am not apart of greek life at wiu but if there is any sisterhood I want to be apart of it would be taus! Give these girls a chance, you can’t believe everything you hear because people like to hate!!

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Western Illinois University - WIU 4.9 These ladies are the best example of what a true sisterhood is. They may have party girl reputation but there sisterhood is so diverse and unique anyone could fit in. I plan on rushing this semester and I hope to get to know them better because they are really amazing no matter what other sororities say.

Alpha Sigma Tau - ΑΣΤ Sorority at Western Illinois University - WIU 4.5 Alpha Sigma Tau has, for decades, been a top drawer sorority at WIU. If you meet an intelligent, attractive woman of a certain age on or around the campus and she says she was in a sorority there you can pretty well guess "Tau, right?" and more often than not you will be correct. This goes back generations people. I have no connection to Tau at all, but they are women whose grace and intelligence commands respect. They have always had standards.

When a girl says they're a tau, you instantly think they're a badass and you don't get that reaction from any other sorority which is pretty cool. They are always down to drink and have fun but also good friends and cool girls
