Alpha Sigma Tau has, for decades, been a top drawer sorority at WIU. If you meet an intelligent, attractive woman of a certain age on or around the campus and she says she was in a sorority there you can pretty well guess "Tau, right?" and more often than not you will be correct. This goes back generations people. I have no connection to Tau at all, but they are women whose grace and intelligence commands respect. They have always had standards.

They aren’t the most popular sorority and I think it’s because they aren’t as superficial as the other ones. They honestly have a really great bond with each other and are super friendly and down to earth and seem super happy in their chapter. I haven’t met a mean phi sig yet so I consider that a plus lol

Taus are really chill and cool. When a girl says they're a tau, you instantly think they're a badass and you don't get that reaction from any other sorority which is pretty cool. They are always down to drink and have fun but also good friends and cool girls

I have been invited to multiple events for this sorority which allowed me to ACTUALLY get to know many of these girls. They are knowsn for being rich and snobby but if someone says that ask them how many sigmas they know on a personal level and they probably won’t be able to come up eith an answer. They have a great sisterhood from what I have seen.
