Ones you want to join
Aphi- Still have a rep for being blonde, though that really isn't the case anymore. Pretty, classy, a little stuck up. Lots of rich girls. Considered the top sorority.
ZTA- Hot. Like to have fun. Very involved with philanthropy and other events. Lots of drama within the sorority though.
AST- Good looking, pretty girls who are very friendly and not snobby. Not very involved but they have the social and sisterhood down.
DZ- Some pretty girls, but not fun. Very stuck up and not very fun. Basically a less good version of a phi.
A xi D- Lots of fun girls and have had good looking pledge classes recently. Involved and have good sisterhood too.

It really depends on what type of sorority you are looking for.
Alpha Phi-extremeley pretty and rich. If you don't have model looks and a trust fund you probably won't fit in.
Zeta Tau Alpha-lots of peppy cheerleaders. A lot of drama in their sorority.
AST: chill and mainly pretty girls. don't really do much
DZ: are known for being particularly easy. No class
AXiD: some of them are pretty. This sorority is on the rise though. Good future planning

Honestly there's so much self ranking on here and people who have no idea what they're talking about so I wouldn't go off of anything on this site. Next year just go to everything possible (the pre-recruitment bbq and open houses). That's going to be the only way you can really see what the sororities are like. Go in with an open mind and don't get your heart set on 1.

Then you must be in a bottom-rated house... Obviously not everything on here is 100% accurate, but the rankings here are pretty legit. Clearly aphi and zta are top tier and phi sig and phi mu are bottom-tier, sorry for offending your sorority.

You really have to go into recruitment with an open mind. All sororities are good sororities and just because you may not get into the pretty sorority should not sway your decision to join one. Yeah there are top-tier and bottom-tier, but at the end of the day all that matters is that you are happy and found your home. I wish you the best of luck in recruitment!

It is important to go through recruitment and get a feel for each sorority on your own. At the end of the day you are the one who will be with whatever group of girls you choose for the next four years. That is a long time, so it is important that you make the right choice for you, not based off of what other people say. I think it is important to formulate your own opinions. Going to Meet the Greeks in early Fall semester will help you too!

You have to go through recruitment to find your home. Just because one sorority is top tier and beautiful doesn't correlate to you being happy. I will give you a rank and stereotypes but please don't pick a sorority because they are pretty. 1.alpha phi:they are overall the best because they are gorgeous,smart, classy, and pretty involved. 2. Zeta tau alpha: they are mostly considered a pretty sorority that are one of the most involved. 3.alpha sigma tau: once again mostly pretty but are not involved at all. 4. Alpha xi delta: on the rise, pretty diverse 5. Delta zeta: known for just being easy,downward sloping 6. Delta phi epsilon: great sisterhood, don't go out that much 7. Phi sigma sigma: very diverse, known to drink a lot 8. Phi mu: very sweet, unfortunately only notes for being awkward and on the chubbier side
