Hazing in Greek life

Sorority rushing is an experience that needs serious work. I rushed with the intention of joining a sorority, so naturally I gravitated towards the high tier ones. I approached the DZ room with high hopes, given that my mother was a DZ alumni so I had a high possibility of joining. Upon arriving, I met with one of the recruiters and complimented her shirt. She responded by telling me that ‘there is no conceivable way that my IQ was above 80’ and then referred to me as a “worthless exhibition of genetic deficiency’. She then proceeded to bend me over and commit acts of psychological horror on me that exceed the comprehension of mere words. After one week of reconstructive surgery and 3 weeks of intense therapy I concluded that sorority life wasn’t for me.
