how serious are frats on gpa?

I'm thinking about rushing SigEp. I know they look for guys with a 3.0 grade point average but I'm at a 2.9... will they take me?

From what I hear they have a minimum GPA requirement of a 2.8. But if you receive a bid they want you to maintain a 3.0 but if you can't maintain a 3.0 nothing will happen. They just want you to have a 3.0. My roommates in sigep
