looks and bids

How big of a factor are your looks on which sorority gives you a bid? I've heard there some that will only offer you one if you meet their "looks standard" or are pretty enough

You've seen too many movies and believed too many isolated extreme incidents in news reports. It doesn't work like that.

I won't lie, looks are certainly a factor but they are not everything you could be the most beautiful girl but if you are a bad person/have no personality/ do not meet standards/ don't have the right values you won't get a bid from anywhere

Lookd are huge. Don't let anyone tell you they aren't especially with sorority recruitment. With fraternity recruitment, not as much.
