fall rush
by: rushif I am currently a sophomore, is there any chance of getting into a sorority during fall rush?

There may be, there are no guarantees especially this early in the year. It depends on what the total chapter size is (known as total) set at, how many seniors graduate from any given chapter, how many members resign, etc. With that said, in the past, a handful of chapters have done fall recruitment, and Gamma Phi will most likely hold one (b/c they're new--it's not a bad thing!).
Fall rush is very small compared to spring recruitment and some chapters might not publicize events very much; they may recruit from within friend circles. I recommend you contact Panhellenic when Fall semester starts, and find out which chapters will be doing Fall recruitment. They can help you get in touch with each chapter's membership chairs.
If you want to go through the formal recruitment process and meet all the chapters, waiting until spring is also an option. Some food for thought
Good luck!!

We accepted seniors who are graduating 4 weeks after initiation. You should be fine.
