does rushing with no connections work?

What is the chance of getting a bid if I am not close with anyone in a sorority currently. I am friendly with a couple of people but I am not close friends or anything. I am so nervous!

Connections are an advantage, but no connections is not a disadvantage. It's like taking a into class in college where you maybe took a hs version of the class- the format is designed so you can go in knowing nothing [no one] and still be "successful."

you're a lot worse off if you know girls who don't like you. one girl has a much better chance at keeping you out than one girl trying to get you in. rush is also really random and girls end up in surprising places pretty often.
