KD came in on/above AOII's level for three reasons: their reps on campus did an amazing job, they're nationally known for often being a top or upper middle tier chapter, and there were several niches of upperclassmen (ie, athletes and theater girls) who took advantage of the opportunity to reconsider Greek life. I'm abroad so I don't know how the GPhi reps are doing establishing campus presence, but I do know the other two factors don't apply. Combined with the fact that AOII actually got a good PC last year, I wouldn't be surprised if the new chapter comes in on the very bottom.

To clarify, I mean the other factors don't apply because GPhi isn't that strong nationally and the niches of actually impressive girls have already been satisfied by KD.

I would say that despite the improvements to kd and aopii recent pledge classes, they still the backup choices of most girls. I can see girls who are left with kd or aopii during rush not wanting them and choosing gphi instead

I think there are still tons of "actually impressive" (whatever that is supposed to mean) upperclassmen, especially within the sophomore class, so it'll be interesting to see where it ends up! :)

GPhi is a powerhouse nationally, and more so than many houses on campus. I'm not afraid to admit it. I think they'll be a great addition here without a doubt.

Looks like a good start. Some gems, cute girls, a few randos, but that's in every house. Overall solid beginning.
