Is that the only sorority going out for fall recruitment?

Chapters only do fall rush if they have spots open because of retention issues or a large senior class graduating that leaves them smaller than usual. So very few, if any, chapters usually do it. Even AOPi, who used to do a much bigger fall rush, has been doing it smaller, quieter, and by invitation-only in recent years. It's better to wait for spring and keep all of your options open unless you're sure whichever chapters are doing fall rush (AOPi or otherwise) are the ones you want.

Although I just noticed it says you're a junior......if I'm going to be honest with you, I doubt any sorority will really want to take on a junior as a new member, either during fall or spring recruitment. Most sororities would prefer freshmen, and then sophomores before they would take on juniors, so just be prepared to have a tough time whenever you do end up going through recruitment.

idk about the aopi part, but if you're thinking about rushing the gamma phi beta colony please think about it seriously before you do it. do't rush thinking that you're going to have the typical washu sorority expense. your mixers won't be as great, you won't have the standard big-little week, and you won't be joining a ready-made sisterhood because you'll have to build it yourselves. if you're not ready to put the work in, don't do it. the issue with colonies is that people don't get what they're getting into and then drop like flies once they realize what a time commitment it is and that it's going to take semesters before they finally get the sorority experience they wanted originally. kd is just coming into its own and it's been on campus for almost three years now, so keep that in mind.

Yea, fall rush has this connotation as being "bad" based on chapters that historically have to do it to keep numbers, but it's extremely common over a chapter's history to do it every once in a while when a really large pledge class graduates.

Pi phi's drops from this spring are so blown out of proportion on this site, if they have to do fall rush it will have nothing to do with that.

when did kappa do fall rush? i dont remember them doing it in 2013 or 2014

fall recruitment is usually very small and very different from formal recruitment in the spring. sororities don't really advertise that they are participating in fall recruitment. typically, sororities only publicize it to girls who they want to join and then sorority members reach out to those girls who are usually their friends and friends with other girls in the chapter. as junior transferring, i'm sorry to say this, but your chances are low unless you know a sorority woman whose chapter is participating in fall recruitment and who REALLY thinks you're a good fit for that chapter.

missing ChiO (2012?), KD (2013-2014), and Kappa (2013?)

Chio did it fall 2012 and KD did fall 2013. I have no idea if Kappa ever did fall rush. Also I've been ignoring the DG conspiracy theories for the most part but to only post that DG did fall recruitment 4 years ago and pretend no other chapter but AOPi has done it in the years since even though other posters have mentioned them seems a little off to me...especially since if you'd been around to know DG did fall recruitment in 2011 then you would have been around to see the others do it too. But that's just me. It's not bad to need to pick up a member or two during fall recruitment if you need them, and I have friends in chapters that have said its mandatory in certain cases, but that doesn't mean you should try to skew the information at all.
