aepibetaphi was easily the best, with chio/sae and xiphi pretty close behind in my opinion. kappa/kappasig felt like a cheaper version of dg/signu from last year, and dg/signu didn't seem to really try on construction at all. kd/beta was cute but nothing special.

as for awards, aepibetaphi hands down deserved the burmeister, since they clearly did well enough on spirit to make up for their production. chio/sae facade looked fantastic, even if it was basically a repackaging of chio/beta's winning 2011 facade. and dg/signu production was just competing on a level of its own, so no surprise there.
