on the real, every chapter has something positive about it
kappas are beautiful, driven, and social
chi os are smart, sweet and welcoming, and proud of their sisterhood
alpha phis are unique, interesting, and fun
dgs are cute, classy, and sweethearts
aopis are very close, super friendly, and unique
pi phis are gorgeous, dedicated, and stick up for their friends
aephis have a good time, are close with each other, and are hard workers
kd is new but everyone knows someone in kd they love

if you go into recruitment with an open mind and don't get caught up in the tier mentality and just try to be yourself, you will be fine. like the previous poster said, most of the girls who enter recruitment and don't get bids are girls who dropped out because they didn't like their options, instead of girls who actually were dropped (which happens very few times, but does happen ooccasionally).

alpha phi rushes very well but has a horrible sisterhood and most people in it are not happy
pi phi is a very fun, very loud sorority
aephi has the closest sisterhood of any sorority on campus and knows how to have fun
chi o's are funky and fun
dg's are the nice girls on campus and are close with sigma nu but don't have a close sisterhood overall
aoii has some great girls but overall ehh
kappa is blonde and thinks highly of themselves
kd is new - will be interesting to see next year

as someone with friends in both chapters i'd have to say DG's sisterhood is better than AEPhi's. AEPhi is really close but in small groups and seems to get kind of cliquey, especially between PCs. DG doesn't always hang out with each other because they're so diverse but i know they would drop anything for a sister.

my friends in aephi are obsessed with the girls in their sorority and are always hanging out as a pledge class or as a sorority. from what i have seen, it doesn't seem to get cliquey.

the self-ranking among a certain few sororities on here is getting ridiculous. if everyone is getting straight 1s except for one sorority at basically the same time...no one is stupid, kappa. no sorority at washu is deserving of all 5s and no one is deserving of all 1s. every chapter has good and bad to them, so just be honest when ranking.

You are right on! Kappa is giving themselves all 5s and 1s to Pi Phi, and Alpha Phi. Kappas can't stand to have sororities better than them. They especially hate the Pi Phis, based upon what I overheard them talking about last week. Kappa, get some class!

our Panhel tries really hard to place every woman who goes through recruitment and creates quotas (for each chapter) that ideally add up to roughly the total number of PNMs. almost all the girls who don't end up in sororities either choose to drop out of recruitment or simply don't make the cuts - capacity isn't really the problem.
