what's the real deal on piphi?
by: ??I've heard a lot about them but do they really just go out with AEPi? And how do they compare against kappa and alpha phi? Are they slightly below them in rankings??

Nice try, APhi. Pi Phi's on top, KKG is slipping, and APhi tries to convince everyone they are when last year is the first time they've gotten a decent pledge class. I don't personally like Pi Phi, but they're the only ones still definitely top tier.

so many people would disagree with that statement. Pi Phi to most is tasteless, rude, and full of social climbers. They're not for everyone, or most to be honest. All of the sororities in the golden tri have their flaws but I think we can all agree that Pi Phi is not undeniably on top. If you're looking for social life, its pi phi and kappa, if you're looking for chill, fun sisters its pi phi and aphi, and if you're looking for status its kappa and alpha phi

Pi phi and alpha phi are the two most desireable. Im in neither. As much as they pretend they arent, kappa is slipping and many would not consider it "top tier" anymore.

Ok i definitely would not say kappa is the same year after year. The number of hot/cool girls they get goes down every year. Meanwhile pi phi and alpha phi (and dg) are on the rise

Stop trying to stir up drama. Every sorority appeals to different people and since DG rushes on personality it definitely isn't for everyone. People who say it's rising probably just mean it's been doing in the top 3 or so in rush every year.

Since it's obvious if you look at what are traditionally considered "top tier" chapters that tiers are based on who is hot/social, DG has been getting more hot/social. When I went through recruitment they were just "nice girls/sweethearts" without anything else, but the last two recruitments they've been taking girls who are "nice girls/sweethearts" but also pretty and into going out. That's why people consider them rising: they used to only compete with chapters like ChiO and AEPhi, but in the last year or so they've been cross-rushing more with APhi/Kappa/Pi Phi (not all the time, but enough for it to be noticeable).

Dg is definitely on the rise, theyve been getting some really cool girls the past few years. I would also say pi phi is on the rise because they were on probation a few years ago and are now getting almost all the girls they want. kappa and is declining in popularity as they get less and less cool girls every year

Depends on how we define "decline". Kappa has for sure not been doing as well recently, but I don't think it's wrong to say general opinion of Alpha Phi is at an all time low and it may end up affecting them the same way Kappa's reputation caught up to them the past few years. Alpha Phi used to be pretty well-liked.......not anymore though.

All of these results are based on actual recruitment results not personal opinion. So if you do look at those, kappa is declining.

APhi did do well last year, but I don't know if I would go so far as to say they're rising, since they were on a solid downhill climb up until last year. One decent pledge class (because let's be honest, it wasn't nearly as remarkable as they try to say it was) doesn't make up for years of bad sisterhood, retention, rep, and rush stats.

Aphi, Kappa, or Pi Phi are interchangeably on top. Pi phi hangs out with AEPi, Sig Chi, and Sig Ep in that order and Kappa hangs out with Sig Chi, Sig Ep, AEPi and Kappa Sig. APhi hangs out with SAE, Kappa Sig, Sig Chi, and AEPi in that order
