it's more of like pi phi and kappa. kappa has a very specific type of girl they are looking for and pi phi has done really well at recruitment the past 2 years. dg has also recruited really well in the past 2 years and gotten on to people's radar. however they don't care about reputation and focus more on quality of their chapter
alpha phi has gotten one good pc (pc 14) in the last 3 years. before recruitment 2014, everyone saw alpha phi falling through the cracks. a lot of people actually thought dg was gonna rise and take their spot in the tier system especially since pc 13 was a big disappointment. i'm sorry but anyone who says alpha phi is top tier is fooling you.

Finally someone who gets it. You may hate Kappa but they get girls they want, vapid and hot with money. Alpha Phi is a little desperate and only did well last year through a plethora of dirty rushing. Pi Phi is undoubtedly on top though. Solid pledge classes back to back to back

^^ Pecking order wise, sure but even thats probably an insult to DG, the two couldn't be more opposite in how they prioritize social climbing
