Top Tier:Pi Phi, Kappa, Alpha Phi-
Years ago the golden triangle was strong and undeniably the core 3 hottest sororities. Around the rise of popularity of this site, Pi Phi was put on probation. They couldn't even have real events off campus. Of course during that era Kappa swooped all the top tier girls that normally would have gone Pi Phi and Pi Phi and A Phi fell. In recent years Pi Phi has made a strong come back especially with two really great pledge classes recently.
Kappa has moved down mainly because Pi Phi has made a comeback and the girls are split more equally now. Last 2 KKG pledge classes aren't knockouts like they used to be but compared to the other sororities the girls are still hotter.
APhi has realistically only had 1 good pledge class in the last 3 years so anyone saying they're on top right now is delusional or probably just them self ranking. Literally last year people were saying APhi would be kicked out of the golden triangle so one good PC does not put them on top.
Upper middle:AEPhi and DG-
Aephi is basically a sloppier, less glamourous Pi Phi but they actually party a lot harder. Doesn't get as attractive girls as Pi Phi and obviously very jappy. DG is really waspy and despite a general consensus that they don't rush for looks, they genuinely are looking to rise up tiers (trust me I used to be in DG). Both sororities have made major improvements in the last 3 years and have become acceptable alternatives from the golden triangle.

There are so so so many things wrong with this post. First, almost everyone agrees Pi Phi was lightyears better before its last pledge class - their rush wasn't affected by being on social probation at all. Kappa had a long history of getting beautiful, blonde, rich girls. The reason they started doing poorly is because their awful reputation caught up with them; nowadays their PCs are way less attractive than Pi Phi's and rumor has it full of girls who were cut from DG/AEPhi as well. Alpha Phi's been solid for the last several years (minus the obvious slip in 2013) but tended to run under the radar until recently, so while they were always good they never used to get much attention.

I personally know a lot of Kappas are bitter that DG did better than them the last two years so I wouldn't be surprised if people are actually trying to give them a bad rep on here

I know a TON of aephis who consider themself in competition with DG to be upper tier/ upper middle tier. OP might have tried to disguise herself as someone not in AEPhi to make look bad

How is that not considered hazing? I don't necessarily think it's awful or dangerous but it very clearly falls under the definition of hazing. The entire chapter watched while babies were told to take their shirts off OUTSIDE ON CAMPUS - and I know from talking to some of the girls that this is one of the tamer things they did on Bid Day. Two years ago a girl actually called Panhel after Kappa Bid Day saying she was scared and hated the whole thing and wanted to change her bid.
