sophomore rush

pi phi, kappa, alpha phi, and also aephi normally don't like taking sophomores. but alpha phi had one this year, kappa had a bunch this year, pretty sure pi phi's president rushed as a sophomore, and aephi has taken a few since i've been here.
dg took a lot this year and so did chio. aopi generally has a lot of sophomore new members. kd is so new they need the older members to help establish their chapter and took a lot of sophomores this year (fall and spring).
your chances of joining anywhere as a sophomore are probably better if you have a good friend (or a lot of good friends) in a chapter to fight for you. especially in the first group of chapters.

they took the smallest pledge class. if they can't hold on to the members they have, they might have some spots to fill in the fall. some sororities have to do fall recruitment if their numbers are on the lower end of the sororities at washu, but no one will be able to tell you for sure which chapters are doing fall recruitment unless they're in one of those chapters.
