fall recruitment for 2014

any idea which sororities will be doing fall recruitment this fall?

probably aopi and kd. or at least if they do it, they'll probably advertise it more. if other sororities do it it will probably be quieter and more friends of sisters.

is it a lot more difficult for a sophomore to get in as opposed to freshmen? that's what i've heard at least

Freshmen aren't eligible for fall recruitment so all of the girls will be sophomores (or older)!

KD at least will definitely be doing fall recruitment. I wouldn't be surprised if AOPi does as well (they have every year so far), and I've even heard rumors that Kappa will need to after struggling in the spring.

I meant in the spring semester, when it's formal recruitment and freshmen are eligible, will sophomores be at a disadvantage?

Depends. Some chapters are more open to taking sophomores in the spring, while others try to avoid taking them as much as possible. If you would be comfortable joining one of the chpaters that are doing fall rush, then do it. But if you want to try your luck at spring rush, go for it. Just know that even if you do do spring rush your options may still be limited.

Heard kappa may also do fall recruitment? They took the smallest pc because no one wanted them

Ok, despite your opinions on kappa that's just not nice to say and also inaccurate. Maybe their numbers weren't as good or there were more people not wanting them than their old reputation might suggest, but people still wanted them just like every sorority had people wanting them.

probably not, as they participated in fall recruitment last year and took a pretty big spring pc during formal recruitment

Aopi and KD are most likely doing fall recruitment

Aephi, Aphi, ChiO, DG, and Pi Phi probably won't.

I doubt Kappa will either but they have had smaller numbers lately.

I heard kappa was thinking of doing fall because they had a tiny pledge class cause they didnt get their top girls

Yeah, their pc was really big because they did formal recruitment and then informal recruitment afterwards.
