FYI: Why I Dropped Post

Just so you know, the latest "Why I dropped" instagram post is about kappa. Their recruiting practices are disgusting, but not every sorority is like that.

They literally said that not every sorority is like that in the initial post. The whole point of reforming our chapters is to call out and get rid of toxic practices like the ones shown on Why I Dropped so there will be no reason to abolish the entire system. Not every critique of Greek Life is AGL, it's usually people who actually want to retain Greek Life and make it a better place for everyone.

Another thing to remember is that even though these recruitment practices are horrible and we should make sure they are abolished, almost every girl got into a sorority in previous years when recruitment was formal. So everyone went SOMEWHERE.

Bump! Lots of Greek orgs used to be catty about rush but I think most are changing this. All I can say is that my chapter has never done this and I think it’s terrible.
