we’re trying but a lot of national orgs have charters that won’t let us dissolve our chapters. like if we all deactivated, they would just send recruiters in and it sucks

Why are people trying to disband? I was contacted by email and apparently my old sorority (I was in a chapter in a different state but I guess they know Im from stl) voted to disband but It wasn’t accepted by nationals so now they are emailing alumna for volunteers and recruiters. Im just wanting to know why this is even a thing?

As a recent alum, this selfish group of current students in all the organizations capitulating to the emo-lemmings abolishing Greek Life are in for a HUGE and UNPLEASANT surprise. When you arrogantly eliminate the freedom of future generations to associate with whom they want then you are evil. You also have taken away their opportunities to chose their life paths. If it was so awful, just leave. The vocal harpies in the chapter and the ignorant critics of the Greek System have made a prejudiced illusion your dismal reality. All the good work, deep friendships, and personal development that was available to you is gone because of your lack of understanding and awareness. Congratulations! You are all GDI’s having quit a productive, wonderful sorority. YOU are the selfish fascist brats. I find it unconscionable that you think your little opinions are so important that you became the true mousy losers in the anti-Greek movement. You have no consideration of others or you would let them make their own decisions. You dictated your personal choice over other’s civil rights. The few infiltrated and the consequences of your foolish choices will be evident soon enough. So let the illiterate remain uneducated, as the literacy efforts from Pi Beta Phi are now greatly diminished in St. Louis.

Don't hold back sistah! Blast the wimps! Great truths about the heavy costs of a lack of courage. I find it hard to believe that the ENTIRE SORORITY did not have one member brave enough to rally an opposing group to meet halfway. If a top sorority like Pi Phi votes to disband trying to appease the haters, then yep, I think what she said, without mincing words, is very true.
The only winners are the ones who hate us for who we are and what we have. Pi Phi rethink what you are doing. Where the F### is their National and other chapters? A few slip-through anti-Greek members and the sheeple follow. I thought better of you ladies.
