I understand that it is incredibly tempting to go on Greekrank before recruitment. But as you do, just know that:
1. This is a small subset of the WashU community. People who go out of their way to post things on greekrank are insecure about their chapter and it is not accurate for the broad community.
2. Any post, whether it be a rank, a compliment, or bashing has an agenda to it. All of the posts are not the general consensus they’re just one person’s biased opinion based on their own organization. Take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt and what ultimately matters most is how that sorority makes YOU feel.
3. Every sorority has amazing women and does amazing things on this campus. They’re all different and it would be a shame for the cr@p on this website to influence your opinion in real life of the sororities. If you read greekrank, read it as entertainment, not fact. Because probably 10% or less of the Greek community uses it. Everyone has their home and the “rank” or “stereotype” will make no impact on you if your sorority helps you find your best friends. Don’t let Greekrank stop you from finding your home.
