i feel like going to school here is a weekly cycle of the students (rue) entering the school week (the arena) and getting bombarded with homework, tests, labs, projects, extracurriculars, the weather (trackerjackers), and surviving for a little only to inevitably get hit in the fracking chest by a goddang spear (your laptop breaking, getting a 32% on a test), and dying in slow agony except we don't become martyrs and inspire change and it's a perpetual cycle. just let us die in peace and kickstart district 11's revolution.

also. i was so disappointed when they didn’t have josh hutcherson frickfracking BODYBUILD for this movie like the WHOLE POINT is that peeta can LIFT BOI (piles of flour) and that’s like ONE OUT OF TWO of his survival skills and instead they give us this mediocrely built mans and expect us to think he could kill someone w brute strength

I — CAnt.

should have learned back in 2012 from my favorite character that self medicating to forget your problems (being drafted into a killing spree and giving up your humanity) only leads to a bitter, bitter life and the real cure is to foster loving relationships with others yet here we are
