spring '13 pcs

PiPhi, AEPhi, and DG all got amazing pledge classes. AEPhi and DG are definitely moving up with really cool girls (like everyone expected them to), and PiPhi seems to be the only chapter in the old "Golden Triangle" still staying on top.
Alpha Phi got an okay mix of girls who will probably help fix the sisterhood issues they have. While the new Kappa PC is pretty good by WashU standards, a lot of the older girls are disappointed that they didn't get to handpick girls like they used to. (There are rumors of snap bids in both chapters.)
ChiO landed some awesome individuals, though their PC as a whole is a strange mix and overall kind of awkward. AOII didn't do spectacularly, but the new girls are another small step up for them, and with KD coming they should do fine in the next few years.

the "golden triangle" is stupid, whether you believe in it or not, because our greek system is set up to put everyone where they fit, not to filter pnms through tiers like at some other schools. i've personally never been a pi phi fan (they're rude and not classy in my opinion), but compared to alpha phi and kappa they did pretty great. granted, that's in terms of numbers and overall pcs, it doesn't necessarily mean their new members are any better as individuals.

Think you're being a bit harsh on aphi. while their new pc isn't as strong as last years, they still got a fantastic group of girls. their sisterhood has definitely improved over the past year and has grown as a chapter. I would place them above pi phi now
also, aephi and dg have definitely improved as chapters as well. the new generation of aephis and dgs are much more outgoing and go out a lot more. Im interested to see how they do next year in recruitment to determine if they can break into that sacred "golden triangle"

all of the sororitys in the golden triangle are lame in my opinion. Pi Phis are nasty Kappa's are dumb and APhis are lame
