what are the real sorority rankings here?

this is debated but the rankings are super obvious
1) kkg/piphi/aphi
Kappas are rich and beautiful and while some are haughty this isnt a sweetness contest
Piphi is a little scary but all around they are the whole package. In no other school would being fun be seen as a bad thing grow up everyone
aphi is as everyone says a mixed bag and a little boring but you know they have some stars

2) dg
This is new 3 years ago nobody would have ranked dg this high but something is working with them. Not the prettiest or biggest partiers but they are a welcoming, sweet, cute group. thats probs what we should all be valuing anyways but whatever

3) aephi
Some serious hotties in new pc and also some awesome girls but its hard for such a japy group to ever rise any higher. Not a good sorority at any other school so nationally that drags them down.

4)Chio
Some really cool cute girls and sooo many yappy ones or odd ones. Quirky is good in my opinion but is not good for rankings

5) KD
Obviously not doing great but the fact that so many people chose it, a new sorority over aopi says a lot. unfortunately the cool classes of kd will be graduating soon and the pack of randoms will remain so kd is not safe on the not bottom
6)Aopi
Has a few gems( they all so) but a very divided sorority. People say they have a great sisterhood because they have nothing else nice to say (sad) but the " cooler" group is splitting itself off. aopi is largely the sorority for people who at any other school would not sorority

This is where ranking threads go awry. While those descriptions pretty much hit the nail, that DOESN'T mean they define which chapters are worthwhile to join. The chapter that's most worthwhile to join is the one where you feel most at home.

disclaimer: I'm IN one of those chapters, so this isn't someone refuting your comment because it doesn't include their own organization. My chapter was the most worthwhile for ME to join because that's where I felt I had found my sisters.

First of all, anyone who uses the word "sorority" or the word "sororityty" needs to sit down and STFU. Y'all go to Wash U. You have a snowball's chance in hell of being "sororityty." You're a bunch of smart kids who study hard. You're dorks. None of you are "sororityty." If you wanted to be "sororityty," you should have picked an SEC school.

Secondly, you're dorks. You're all pretty smart, reasonably pretty, (mostly) nice girls. You weren't quite good enough to get into an Ivy League school, you're too laid back to go to University of Chicago, and you're too good for a big state school. There's barely a difference between the women in the "best" sorority and the women in the "worst" sorority in this campus. Despite racial and geographic diversity, the women on Wash U campus are very, very similar to each other, and the sororities are very, very similar to each other.

Everyone seems to agree that kappa has faded out over the last few years...so is the golden triangle just pi phi and aphi now? Or does anyone thing aephi or dg could move up if they have a really good recruitment?

Yeah i would agree that kappa has faded out maybe dg or aephi will move up and take the spot but for now its just pi phi and alpha phi at the top

i agree and disagree with the 2014 ranks. also, in the interest of disclosure: i am a fraternity man who's mixed at least once with each (i think).
1. alpha phi, pi phi: a little high strung, good looking. always down to party, easy to talk to
2. kappa: definitely on the down and out, but still a fun group of girls to party with. a lot of them wear bows
3. dg/chio - maybe dg is higher, idk. both smart, more relaxed than alpha phi or pi phi. dg is more into sorority things, but chio seems to care a lot about everyone in their chapter. still pretty good looking
4. aephi - party girls, a lot of japs, fairly predictable in any given situation that a few will be puking before the end of the night
5. kd - new kids on the block. too soon to tell. a lot of overachievers, but people get burnt out fast and drop (or so i've been told)
6. aopi - they're trying. maybe too hard.

pretty well perceived order on campus:
1. pi phi / alpha phi / kappa
2. chi omega / delta gamma
3. a e phi
4. a o pi / kappa delta
