sorority blacklisting

Is black listing actually a "thing" at Washu? Or do people actually get into sororities based on fit not on who you know?

blacklisting is definitely a thing. in fact, sororities at WashU pay greek rank to be able to track the IP of who posted certain threads. I'm sure they know exactly who YOU are, for example. Good luck in rush xoxo

Yes and no. In general, it is strongly discouraged by Panhel and against the rules of recruitment. However some sororities have a reputation for not even considering girls they've heard rumors about or had certain interactions with. The sororities that have a more active dirty rush process (coughAlphaPhicough) are more known for it.

there isn't actually a list of girls that a sorority won't let in, but there are definitely girls who don't have a shot starting the first day because she crossed a sister at some point in the first semester and that girl told her chapter to watch out.
