sorority tiers

top: Alpha Phi / Pi Phi / Kappa (all relatively the same, maybe kappa a little lower)
mid: AEPhi / DG / ChiO (order within the tier is debatable but they're all relatively similar)
lower: KD / AOPi / GPhi (kd solidly above aopi, gphi doesn't really have a rep yet so there's nowhere else to put them)
that said - tiers are dumb and if you rush trying to get into a 'top' sorority you're going to be disappointed

i would move kappa down to mid and chio down to lower and then aopi and gphi to solidly bottom.
that being said, there are wonderful girls in EVERY sorority on campus and every girl found their home in whichever chapter they ended up in. i agree with op, tiers are dumb and those in the "top" sororities are the least happy (proven by the highest drop rates. About 14 aphis in pc14 have dropped compared to 11 in piphi's pc14. granted about the same has happened in kd and aopi. if you want to be happy, go with middle tier.

i know aephi and dg especially tend to lose very few members, which is why they are the biggest chapters on campus

chio has lost about 6/7, but typically due to time commitments. i would say chio members are typically the ones with the most involvement on campus. unsure about dg and aephi, but i havent heard anything. best guess is that they have lost maybe 1 each (if any). theres that senior girl who dropped pi phi freshman year before initiation to re rush to get dg (which she wanted going into freshman rush).

so does that mean those chapters are losing like a quarter of each pc over the course of 4 years? what about drops for the others like chio, dg, aephi?
