fall rush 2016

So I'm a current freshman who rushed in the spring but didn't get a bid, so I'm planning on rushing the frats next year in the fall. Tbh I'm not sure which frats I wanna rush, I have a few in mind but there are also some I didn't rush in the spring and I wanna check out. Ultimately, I don't care that much about status, I just want a solid community of guys who are real and aren't too weird. The only problem is that I don't know too many people in Greek life (other than some guys my age). I've heard that fall rush is hella dirty and to get a bid you need to have connections, which I don't. I was wondering if you guys could tell me any tips for fall rush, as well as which frats would be good. Also if there are any brothers who rushed in the fall I'd love to hear about your experience. Thanks

Just be yourself and socialize as much as possible. Fall rush was pretty dirty back when I did it, but not impossible, idk how it's done this year. I'd say look at the more close-knit frats like KappaSig, Alphadelt, etc. Stay away from AEPi and SigChi tho

I would suggest alpha delt, zbt, tke, and beta. You don't need to know a ton of guys for these frats, just make sure to give a good impression during rush.
