Kappa is more of an ideal than an actual sorority, and probably the one freshmen hear the most about. The divide between the really wealthy and they know is princesses and more down to earth girls is pretty evident. Some of them are great, other ones not so much. But they do attract really pretty and fun social girls.

Pi Phis are a lot of fun, and the closest you'll get to a stereotypical state school sorority at WashU. Also known for having very attractive girls. But their sisterhood isn't very obvious, and they don't seem to do all that much on campus.

They're fine. Like to win things, and like to remind people that they win things. Kind of annoying as a group, but on an individual basis they're great. Really involved on campus.

actually, that you don't see DG doing much around campus is probably the LAST criticism you'd hear about them. if there's one thing you ever see those girls doing it's being involved. i have several close friends in the chapter and they're constantly busy with DG/other things. i'd say the only sorority more involved would be ChiO, which in these terms is basically like the louder/more competitive version of DG.

these girls are great, they love to go out and know how to have a good time. they also know what a sisterhood is and really stand by eachother, most def a top tier sorority

These girls stunned everyone at kappa karaoke last year. PC 12 is by far their best pledge class, but even with that, they are known as the awkward sorority on campus. Despite the inherent friendliness of many of the girls, I don't think their sisterhood is that close knit. They have improved a lot but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

everyone says they have amazing sisterhood and i can see why that's the rep, but i'm friends with several aephis who, while they love their pledge classes, barely know the girls in other pcs. i've brought up exec members before to members who didn't even recognize their names...

There's clearly so much self-ranking going on here. AEPhi is great, and they do have exceptional sisterhood, but other than that and they're habit of going out a lot they aren't really remarkable. Solid chapter, just not as wonderful as this site makes it look.

Agree with the last poster about looks - they're cute and there are a good number of attractive girls but still not on par with the "top-tier" chapters. In terms of popularity and sisterhood, though, I'd say DG is probably above average. It's liked for being the "nice girl" sorority and I know from listening to friends talk that they recruit a lot based on character/personality instead of looks, which is obvious in their sisterhood (compared with some other sororities here).

Used to be worse, but getting better through a lot of hard work. Still mostly attracts girls who wouldn't be Greek at other schools, but have improved a lot with their recent pledge classes.. Occasionally stuns the school with a performance like at Kappa Karaoke last year. Will be interesting to see how things change with KD coming.
