Greek Life on campus is coming back! The parties are nothing to be slept on and they are very fun. Yes, it is small because of the campus size and student enrollment, but Greek Life here is amazing!

SigmaNu @ The University of Akron are the most respectful men I’ve met on campus. They are cute& genuine guys that like to have fun. While still exceptionally managing their agenda, they usually f s up (in a good way)

UofA is nothing compared to Kent, Akron Greek life is TERRIBLE.

In my experience, the Greek community at the University of Akron is not your stereotypical Greek community. The fraternity men and sorority women in this community are hardworking, intelligent, and friendly people who care about one thing: improving the Greek community as a whole. There are some members who do just party and socialize, and there are some people who do live up to stereotypes of Greek life, but in my opinion, the people in Greek life that I have met are some of the highest quality friends I could ever ask for. Every Greek community has issues, and we do have our fair share, but I hope to see this Greek community become even more unified and for all of us to leave a lasting legacy for our chapters and the Greek community as a whole.

Its a relatively small community even compared to Kent. If youre not a commuter who goes home to mommy every weekend, Id recommend you join the community. Thats really the nice part of Akron greek life is that it is not a bunch of commuters and youll have brothers/sisters to hang with always. Greek community is the best way to get involved on campus theres always some philanthropy or other event you can go to. Akron is a meh school, but going greek will definately make your experience better.
