Their parties are lame and they are not all that popular. Overall void them if you can

Tau Kappa Epsilon - ΤΚΕ Fraternity at University of Akron - UAkron 3.0 TKE has gone through some changes during my time here at UA and thats honestly for the better. They used to have a bad reputation with a lot of my female friends but that has gotten better recently. Im assuming thats what the other reviews are referring to when they say there were some "bad apples" in the chapter. Otherwise, this is a pretty mid tier maybe upper mid tier fraternity. I wouldn't say they are the smartest, most athletic, do the most service, or have the best parties. But they do all of the above pretty solidly. They attract the type who uses greek rank to pick a fraternity. So if you're reading this, this is the fraternity for you.

Tau Kappa Epsilon - ΤΚΕ Fraternity at University of Akron - UAkron 1.7 This chapter is known for getting into fights constantly and doesn’t do any philanthropy events during the year, they basically just party. Might as well just be a social club instead of a fraternity because they don’t care about philanthropy just the social aspect. This chapter has some good members but an equal amount of bad members. Could improve on their interaction with the Greek community and their philanthropic contributions.

Tau Kappa Epsilon - ΤΚΕ Fraternity at University of Akron - UAkron 5.0 We teamed up for songfest and these guys are amazing! They are friendly, funny, and sweet. Not to mention awesome dancers. So glad to have them as part of this Greek community and so excited for songfest :)
