Good Fraternity, great brotherhood and a very worthy group of friends. Biggest fraternity in the county. Recommend their brotherhood to others.

The DZs are super attractive funny and dedicated girls. But also down to earth and fun. 10/10. Best sorority here at UA by far.

Not worth the time or money. Recruits the same type of girls each semester, which explains why there in the same cycle of academic problems each year.

They may not be on academic probation anymore, but they’re still a disaster chapter. They’re very unkind and stuck up, and do not uphold Panhellenic values. Some of the girls in their new exec board are major bullies.

Suck ups they all look like they smell bad and god forbid they win the deans cup they think they are hot stuff, no one likes you

Let’s set the record straight. 1) Alpha Phi is not on academic or social probation as of this semester. 2) No, they were not almost kicked off campus. 3) No, they are not ran into the ground. As an Akron Alum, I was around to see the evolution of Greek life. I’ve had friends in Aphi who have been around to tell me things. Some wonderful people have taken over positions and the entire chapter has taken a 180. Their grades have improved and they were one of the top recruiters this fall. They do have things to work on as does every chapter but in no way are they close to “not existing.” Every semester their numbers go up. New members have taken Exec positions. Their involvement goes up. Everyone is so quick to bash and then when they try to fix things it’s never enough. Are certain things a problem? Yes. Sisterhood, turnover rate, and other things could definitely use improvement but to give the chapter a 1 is you choosing not to see improvement. They deserve a pat on the back.

The self ranking is very obvious here. I have been around plenty of DG’s especially in class. They are extremely closed off. They remain within their group and won’t break off of it. It wasn’t a shock when I’ve heard girls dropping because of how clique-y it is. I never find them to be that inviting to other chapters. I’ve met two girls who I’ve found to be genuine. They let their “popularity” get to their head heavily. They are involved but it’s never anything crazy. There is of course the same pattern of girls you see on their social media who go above and beyond but I can’t say that for the entire chapter. There’s absolutely no need to put down other chapters and that’s their signature. They only associate with the same two frats and almost have an odd claim over them, like no one else can have them. At the end of the day they don’t care and that’s fine, but to sit here and give them a 5 star rating just doesn’t seem logical.
