I'm considering informal but am worried because I'm kind of overweight. Do many houses take heavier girls? I have great grades and was involved with sports and asb in high school!

Thanks!

Every house has heavier girls- even the top ones! Although- the top houses don't show as these girls in pics

University housing, academic societies, true service organizations, and fields of study / majors that attract academically minded individuals who value diversity and challenge and who have a demonstrated commitment to community (like ASB) all 'take' all girls. Read the two replies and ask yourself if that kind of 'welcoming encouragement' is consistent with your values. How would you feel if a 'top house' gave you a bid (and they might, even just for your GPA), but didn't 'show you in their pics'?

I think that you, Butch the Coug, need to stop looking at this site as an accurate representation of the Greek Community. The girl who posted, should do the same. Yes I browse this site as sort of a guilty pleasure, but so many things said here are false and misguided I know to take everything with a grain of salt. Get the real facts about sororities from the source, because God knows you won't find them here. Stop leading a crusade against what you THINK Greek Life stands for.

Start getting to know girls in different houses in your dorm and meet their sisters... You will quickly see which houses you are interested in. With so many girls in each chapter, literally every house has all different types of girls!
