feel me?

by: ConfusedToTheMax

I have a question. My dad was in this frat and he gives a lot of alumni money every year. I am suppose to pledge them of course because my dad wants me too.... Some of y'all may relate. But I don't know, some of the brothers seem chill but like the recruitment chair dude is hella weird. He doesn't seem like he wanted to answer any of my questions or anything! I haven't told them I'm a legacy because I wanted too see how they were before finding out. Should I have told them off start...? Reasoning behind it was too see if they like me before knowing who my dad is. Feel me? And I'm chill, like I have good grades (3.7+). How bad would it be to join another frat other than the one I'm a legacy of? Up to date opinions on fiji?

I am also a rushee, and it could be a few things depending on which chapter. If it was me, I would hold the legacy thing for now, until you can casually slip it in at an event or while talking.

When I'm talking to recruitment chairs I always remind myself that first impressions last. So i try to be somewhat reserved, and read them. Lastly, i've been told its a two way street, they don't have to bid you, and you certainly don't have to accept a potential bid from them.

Is it FIJI your dad is a legacy of? If so, they have a fair amount of holdovers who didn't make grades, and drunk freshman have a habit of getting a little too out of control and in a few cases door kicked a few dayrooms in and then broke through the wood cabinet door and robbed a few guys. Their recruitment chair Brandon is pretty decent at least from what I've seen/heard, but I personally would shy you away from FIJI.
