big threee?
by: CuriousSo I'm in a sorority And I keep hearing the older members talking about the big 3 and I have no idea what they're talking about, can someone please tell me?

I may consider joining so this topic intrests me. Dont think i want to be "big three" if egos are part of it. Just want chill guys that can kick it but also have goals in life beyond being a frat star. not familiar with all houses. Who is Pikes? And did I read somewhere that they were done?

Pikes is a house that got unrecognized on campus for underage drinking and hazing. Won't be officially recognized by the school again until 2017. But they're not shut down nationally, so they can still recruit guys. They're still pretty popular. They part at their liveouts and can have date dashes, but sororities aren't allowed to have any official date functions with them because they're unrecognized.

Why shouldnt it change. If they are not BIG anymore then why call them that? We all have our opinion and can call it how we see it. Big 3 should mean top and thats still a toss up on who that is. If we make it big 4 thats easy. I go with Theta chi, SAE and ATO or phi delts.

phi delts are all over greek rank. I have seen in so many places that they are a top house and you could ask anyone, phi delts is not even top 10.
