sorority informal?
by: FutureGreekDoes anyone know which houses are planning on doing informal recruitment in the spring? I have heard Aphi's are most likely doing it, and DG's are for sure not. Other than that I haven't heard much.

I think most houses are doing informal, someone asked "what top houses" - I say all the houses are really great, some a little better than others but really all the houses have some really great girls, and all have pretty girls and yes all have some not so great of girls. Don't just go by the ratings because most of the comments are not all that correct... all houses have the good and the bad.... one might study more, one might party more and one might socialize more,etc... but all are great houses and we all should be proud to go greek and be at WSU and try to all get along.

Okay, the majority of houses do not know if they are doing informal yet. In order for a house to do informal or Continuous open recruitment the most recent pledge class has to be under quota (35ish) or very close to it. It's still so early in the year that most girls have not dropped their houses, the majority of dropping happens over winter break when people decide to not come back at semester. The best thing you can do is talk to girls in chapters that you know and see what their new pledge class looks like. Also email pan about wanting to do informal and they will give your information to different recruitment chairs for each house so if/when that house does informal they can contact you.

Wrong. Let me break it down. Quota was 48, not 35. And houses can do informal is they're under campus TOTAL, not quota. And campus total at WSU is 125 this year. Think about it. Their pledge class doesn't really matter. But you're right. If you want to do informal, email pan now and they'll let you register for something and houses can contact you if they want. But to get a leg up, you should talk to girls you know in houses so they can vouch for you to recruitment chairs.
