summer recruitment

Aight, I’m goona go summer recruitment. But how should I start? I have 5 houses but I’m scared to message them on Instagram about information.

You don't message people on Instagram to ask them questions about recruitment. It is the same as texting a random person you don't know. What you realistically do is you get the recruitment chair email and send them a message first. After that, you ask to meet them a potentially few members in the house you wish to join.

IFC/WSU is potentially removing summer signs anyway. Just go through formal

I just got em email from them and they told me that recuritment opens June 1st. And some of the houses I listed are still doing summer sign. But I'm not sure, if I don't get anything in the Summer, I will go through it again in Formal.

Summer sign during informal rush isn't fair. Just because you can't attend informal events in Washington State, why does that mean no is basically allowed to join to the fraternity because you can't visit Seattle when you don't even live there. That is not absolutely not fair to out of state students. SAE is an example, no one is even there for recruitment for formal. That is completely wrong and not fair.

It is absolutely not fair how recruitment is and no wonder so many bad people get accepted in Greek Life because they can't join early. Greek Life at WSU has will be annihilated if this keeps happening. No one will want to join.
