Greetings young one. I remember being in your shoes many, many years ago. It was very exciting times. Greek life was not nearly as prominent but we knew how to be hip! I hope you are figuring things out well. You have a wonderful journey ahead of you. A little bit about myself, I currently work with the administration at WSU. I don't directly oversee the Greek community but I do play a role so I can try to answer your question.

My eldest son is now in his second year at the university. I strongly encouraged him to rush since I know how influential chapters can be. He said he enjoyed the formal recruitment but he got in one little fight and I got scared so I said that was enough of that. Now I advocate for alcohol-free environments both inside and outside of campus. I have been doing this for coming up to five years now. I do have to say that I can predict the chapters each year who accept my invitation to speak with them. I do think that it is telling of the kind of community each chapter represents. Now, on this site I do think there is a misrepresentation. A lot of kiddos like yourself come onto this site when they drink for the first time underage and decide to be a little rowdy in their posts. I can always tell when this occurs and I try to control myself. Usually I leave it at just a dislike, sometimes two (using my Mac and Android). Other times, like right now I decide to take time while I'm in the office to type a little something, like right now. And I must say that you seem like the type of innocent high schooler to make the right decision. I do think that you could also easily be influenced negatively. You better not indulge in alcoholic beverages until you're at least 21 years of age. My son obtained a DUI last year and I cried for hours. Promise me that you won't ever drink?

idk about that^ but to answer your question no it’s not as bad as this site makes it look. there’s competition and fighting on here just like every other school has, but the other stuff is mainly just trolls trying to be funny or start stuff, or from the crazy dude who is obsessed with aphi. Come to wsu and join Greek life!! It’s a great time

Disregard the message from the Alpha-Phi above. No single person or people are obsessed with A-Phi. These girls are just cocaine-heads who just black out drunk all the time. There is a reason out of all the sororities, they are the #1 hated sorority on campus. Also, Alpha-Phi ranks lowest in grades too.

I'm just lying about pretending to be someone I actually know in a frat. I'm just angry I got rejected from the sorority house of Alpha-Phi and joined a better house as a Kappa,DG, or AGD. It's been going on for years now. Haha, I guess people hold grudges.
