sorority live in and live out
by: WSU TransferAre there any sororities that do not require you to live in ever? If not, what is the amount of time you must live in for some of the sororities? I'm mostly interested in DG, Alpha Kappa Theta and Alpha Phi so if any one can tell me about these ones. Does everyone have to share a room, sleeping porch, costs to live in? Etc. Advice would be helpful. I want to join, when I transfer back in January, it looks like so much fun and the sisterhood looks amazing! But I just don't know how well I will do living with 40+ other girls! :/

Every chapter has their own live-in rules. Just ask them during informal. For some houses, upperclassmen have first priority to live in (not sure how it is for girls given bids during informal, though) and living in is cheaper than dorms if you were gonna do that. It's not bad! You live in a house with all your sisters and get great food and you're right on the row! (cute fraternity neighbors!)
So you could live in the chapter house for a semester and if you don't like it, you could just live out with a few roommates.
And thats Kappa Alpha Theta :)
