informal rush or wait for next year?

I wasn't able to formal rush this year due to some stuff I had going on during the time, so I was wondering if it was worth the struggle to informal rush or if I just suffer this year and formal rush next year? What would you guys do?
Im talking about rushing fraternities if that makes a difference.

You find 3-6 fraternities you want to join and you basically informally rush a house during a summer event. The fraternities legitimately take pretty much all of the PC class from summer rush events. You reach out to all the fraternity recruitment chairs or a brother in the house that you are interested in joining. Don't formal rush, unfortunately, the situation is they don't really any one during formal rush, summer rush informally. Reach out and ask a brother.
