expensive
by: FreshWhile I was at the experience scholarship I went to the sorority and fraternity “concurrent workshop” and when finances got brought up, the guy doing the presentation said it costs an extra $4,000 a semester to be in a sorority or fraternity. Is this about right? I can’t afford an extra $8,000 a year so when that was said I was upset knowing I couldn’t be a part of Greek life.

I paid a little over 2k this year which is pretty average for most of the houses. the first semester is always more because of new member fees. if you dont live in expect to pay around 2k a year. if you live in the house it is a lot cheaper than living in a dorm too, depending on what house youre in. im speaking on my experiences and just what the average is

I think this is only for the more expensive houses, even with all the extra stuff I only pay 2K at most per semester! I think my house is pretty average price-wise, but since chapters don’t release finance info I’m not sure
