what are good alternatives if lambda chi passes ?
by: FroshMy sister is in a top sorority at WSU and she says Lambda Chi is definately the #1 fraternity at WSU with no one even remotely close. She says Lambda Chi has all the best looking guys and all sororities want to pair with them. She also says they are the ONLY fraternity that is selective since I guess 90%+ of rushees have Lambda Chi as their goal and all the rest of the fraternities just bid anyone that walks into their door. I understand Lambda Chi invites less than 10% of rushees so it is almost impossible to get a bid unless you are a “STAR”. I think I have a good chance 6’4” blond/blue VGL who has modeled, A student. What other fraternities should I check into if for some reason I don’t get a bid?. Would those other fraternities be embarassing to be in compared to Lambda Chi?, if I can’t get a bid from Lambda should I just not consider other fraternities?. She also mentioned any negative comments are from guys upset they didn’t make the Lambda Chi cut.Please list any consolation bids if I don’t win the “Golden Ticket”.

Sweetie. Lambdas are great but not that great. They Throw great tailgates and parties. I wouldn’t say they are leagues above the rest though. 9/10 girls you ask would say sig eps are husband material, theta chi is your stereotypical frat house and is super popular, tke is also a great house. It’s not like lambda is top and everyone else is bottom. I personally wouldn’t sweat it and go where you belong. Defiantly don’t be entitled in rush and just go for the guys you see your self having a great brotherhood with. If you are that interested email their rush chair come summer and see if they summer sign and go to their events near where you live.

This isn't a serious and legitimately post, is it? I'll have whatever you are having. After formal recruitment and visiting every house, (doesn't matter when) I have NEVER seen anything remotely close to what you are describing. In honest truth, I just saw a bunch of completely average guys who are 5/10 or 6/10. Not to be disrespectful but take it as it is, there were even not only normal completely looking people, some people in Lambda were heavy and even overweight. It Lambda Chi Alpha..., not an Abercrombie and Fitch store with models standing around everywhere. Here to just to make things clear, not jealous or interested in Lambda, there are a lot better fraternities at WSU.
