should transfer students do formal recruitment?
by: TransferI am going to be transferring to WSU with junior status from community college, but feel that formal recruitment might be awkward due to my age. I also worry that my age would prompt many houses to drop me.

Just rush. I met a lot of guys in rush who are not of 'college age' (not in the 18-23 age range) that joined houses and did fine. I also met a lot of guys who were weird and entitled and didn't get bids. If you're a down to earth guy with good social skills you'll do fine in formal. Alternatively you can try to rush informally but sacrifice the opportunity to visit every house
