why is pan lying?
by: LolPan has pretty much said that as long as you don’t have bad grades and don’t withdraw from recruitment, that you’re guaranteed a bid. Why they lying? So many girls didn’t get bids last year because of the high number of freshman, and it seems like this year will be just as big. Is there any way for houses to offer more bids? Cause I didn’t think there was anyways for them to do that...

You’ve got a point. There were a quite a few girls who didn’t even turn up their noses at “bottom houses,” yet were still dropped completely. The way Pan has been handling recruitment for the past couple years is horrible. Last year they didn’t drop ANY PNMs until the last couple of days, which gives PNMs false hope and then bam they’re cut on house tours or pref. Hopefully they fix that this year. But regardless it means that PNMs really don’t have room to be snobby or picky this year. A sorority is a sorority. Move wisely.

And honestly I just wish that they would have the Rho Gams tell the PNMs that there is def a chance that you’ll get dropped, especially if it’s another big PNM group like last year. It’s horrible to lead the PNMs on like everybody is gonna get a bid when in reality, some of them won’t and it’s not their faults.
