thoughts on rushing as a junior from out of state
by: transferHi! I am going to be transferring to Wsu in the fall but I don’t have any connections at Wsu. I want to rush in the fall so I can meet new people. I’m transferring from a community college so there I haven’t ever rushed or been initiated into another sorority. I am just curious to see if sororitys accept juniors, and if I would have a rough time rushing. I don’t care about top houses or whatever just focused on finding my fit and meeting genuine people!

Yeah, that is completely fine. Just because you live out of state, that doesn't equate to someone living in the state who wishes to join a sorority. So what is recommended is you start look at a few sororities that you are interested in joining. Maybe 3-5 sororities you wish you join. You need to start reaching out to people and asking about recruitment events. Start asking and getting in contact with recruitment chairs. You can find more information on WSU Panhellenic. Start inquiring.
