recruitment twice

Hi, I went through recruitment this year but dropped out because my favorite houses dropped me. I want to rush again next year, so I was just wondering what I should do better next time?? Does anyone have tips to get into the house I want?

Just be yourself and go to a handful houses instead of hanging at one or two.
