are letters or rec a thing?

I'm a senior in highschool this year and have a lot of friends and family that have gone through the greek system at WSU. I wanted to know if letters of rec were a thing a lot of people have at wsu for rush because if they were I have a lot of people who would write me one. If it's something no one has I don't wanna come in with a bunch of letters and look pretentious if that makes sense.

I got dropped from the house i was a legacy for (sigma kappa and KKG) and got dropped by the other house i had rec letters for (KD). It doesn’t matter what your pedigree is, if you dont fit in you wont be in the house. trust the process, go with whats best for you
