I don't really love the house I have for preference but I don't hate them either. They're my only option and I don't know if I should force myself to love it and accept it or wait and try informal.

Go and then if your still don't love it drop and informal. But I'd go first. pref day can totally change people's minds

I agree with Go!I did not like my houses and actually got snap pledged by a completely different house but decided to go through informal. Ended up in the house that "snap" pledged me. I wish I had gone to them in the fall. Rush is hard on both sides of the fence. I can remember sitting in the chapter room at night and people making comments like, "you remember her, she was the one with the weird hair." Brother.

To this day I am proud of and admire the women of my sorority.

I'd say go and see but don't force yourself into it if you feel iffy. Drop and do informal. That's what I'm doing.
