why do good girls get heavily released
by: confused pnmSo I was heavily released first round but left with a couple good houses out of the six i had; Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Tri Delta. Then I had SIgma Kappa, ADPi and Pi Phi. Aftr Philanthropy round, I was released from all the houses I really had an interest in (Theta, AGD, and Tri D). I am so confused because I have a 3.7 GPA, shared values with the girls/chapters, I was open and genuine with the girls, I'm decent looking, dressed well, all the houses complimented my makeup. I didn't think I said anything weird or off putting and I have an average amount of overall high school involvement. What are some reasons I could've been cut? Could it have been something I said or just a vibe I gave off? I'm super discouraged now because I came in with such a positive attitude and was loving recruitment until this.

The same thing happened to me and I had a 4.0, I'm attractive dress well and got along with every girl I spoke with. I ended up in a house that made me the happiest I've ever been. Honestly a thousand girls are going through recruitment and it's hard to remember all the girls we talk to you could have just slipped through the cracks. They also could have really liked you but thought you would fit in somewhere else better.

With soooo many women this year, I'm guessing you kinda fell through the cracks. Howver, the three chapters you have left all have amazing women in them, great social lives and philanthropy events. Pi Phi is cool Bc they have lots leaders as they restarted their chapter a few years ago. ADPi had seeet girls and SK has great social events!

The other two above are right in saying that it's easy to slip through the cracks while being a very well rounded girl. I really encourage you to keep an open mind with these houses though. With the right attitude you'll be able to see what you probably couldn't before cause you were dead set on other houses.
Pi Phi and SK HAVE amazing community service involvement and ADPi has a kick ass sisterhood from what I've heard. and they all have great social lives.

Lol I don't care about being in a top house. And no, none of the houses I had fit me. I don't care about being top or middle or bottom if I love a house. I understand being dropped from top houses as I know I'm not as hot as a lot of other girls but you (and the houses) don't know my financial situation so please don't assume.
